Councillors

Bernard Little
Councillor (Central Ward)

Bernard little is Centre Cllr representing Sheffield Green Party, and recently started a walking group for colleagues at his workplace when the bus service was withdrawn.

Dan Lyons
Councillor (Stocksbridge)
Dan is a lobbyist and campaigner for animal welfare. He works with his partner Angela in Stocksbridge. Dan has a PhD from the University of Sheffield in the history of British animal experimentation law and policy.

Jillian Creasy
Councillor (Central Ward)

Jillian Creasy was elected as Sheffield’s first Green Councillor in 2004 and was re-elected in 2007. She has lived in Central ward for over 20 years and still works part time as a General Practitioner.

Rob Murphy
Councillor (Central)

Rob is a gas fitter who works across Sheffield. He is our spokesperson for transport and lead the Greens for Buses Campaign. He is the candidate for Central ward in May 2008.

David Hayes
Co Chair

David has lived in Sheffield for 30 odd years and was a teacher in Further Education in this time in addition to work experience in telecommunications and ICT. He is married with a daughter and three grandchildren

Eamonn Ward
Secretary & Election Agent

Eamonn is the Election Agent and Secretary for Sheffield Green Party and was involved in a successful campaign to protect Gleadless Common.

Graham Wroe
Co Website Manager

Graham lives in the Manor area of sheffield and is married with 3 grown up children. He works at Sheffield College teaching Skills for Life.

Kathy Aston
Press Officer

Kathy is the Press Officer and teaches English to foreign students at Sheffield University. She lives in Hillsborough with her partner.

Krystyna Haywood
Co Website Manager

Krystyna stood for the Lib Dems in 2002, & joined the Greens in 2006. She is a Social Worker & UNISON Branch Officer in Derbyshire and is the designer of this current website.

Angela Roberts
Angela lives on a farm in South Stocksbridge with partner Dan Lyons who is a councillor on Stocksbridge town council. Angela is a campaigner for animal welfare.
Arun Mathur
Arun is 47 and lives in the Greystones area. He has worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker for the past twenty years and joined the Greens to tackle local issues and concerns.
Chris McMahon
Chris works in property management but is better known as a talented local musician whose bands include Haze, Treebeard and Silverwheel.
Gareth Roberts
Gareth has been our Green Fair Co-Ordinator and also the Fundraising Co-Ordinator for the Sheffield Green Party. He is the prospective candidate for the next General Election in Heeley constituency.
Heather Hunt
Heather is one of our activists in the Sheffield Green Party. Involved in the Sheffield Campaign Against Climate Change
Jason Leman
Jason is a researcher into social policy and local services at Sheffield Hallam University. He also works as a research assistant to the Green Party Councillors in Sheffield.
Jennyfer Barnard
Jennyfer is a civil servant, former Labour party election agent and Campaign Co-Ordinator. Her partner Steve is also a former Labour councillor.
Julian Brandram
Julian is a charity worker, fruit specialist, consultant and gardener - a very busy man..!! He spends a lot of time working in Beighton.
Julie White
Julie is a GP who works in Tinsley and is one of three Green members with solar panels on their house. Julie is currently leading the campaign against the widening of the M1.

Linda Duckenfield
Linda lives in Heeley. She has been a teacher in the community for over 25 years as well as an environmental campaigner all her adult life.

Mervyn Smith
Mervyn is one of our activists for the Sheffield Green Party on several campaigns.
Tina Gilligan
Tina is an Economics lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University and has also worked in the Health sector.
Rob Cole
Rob graduated from Sheffield University in 2003 and is a self employed kitchen fitter. He is the candidate in Broomhill ward.

Rob is based in Gleadless Valley and works in education. He is a former candidate in Heeley constituency.
