Candidate for Mosborough

I am 34 and run a unique shop, Airy Fairy, which blends my interest in alternative therapy, spirituality and love for people, animals and planet. The coffee shop has strong fair-trade, organic and vegetarian principles. The crafts for sale are nearly all made by local artists or fairly traded with other crafts people from around the world. All other products we sell are not tested on animals, and endeavour to have lower impact on the environment.

The business as a whole maintains good environmental policies recycling and composting to a maximum, reducing energy consumption and using reclaimed or recycled materials in much of the daily consumables and long term fittings. I am also qualified reiki practioner and crystologist.

At a local level, my main issues as a candidate are improving community living and facilities, supporting all aspects of education for all members of the community from child to adult, supporting local businesses, and providing better public transport facilities alongside tackling congestion on the roads. The power is with the people and who they vote into council as their voice. It is our job to listen, to follow our green ethics and to get things changed.
