First have us over a barrel
We are all angry about the First price rises due in January. First know that they have us over a barrel - if a barrel of oil goes up in price we pay more and if it goes down we pay more.

Greens promote festive buses
Green Party councillors have been out promoting bus services which will be running for the first time for 15 years on Boxing Day and New Year's Day at a reduced, flat-rate fare of £1.

Greens get Sheffield into fast track mortgage scheme
Sheffield City Council has passed a Green Party amendment at their full council meeting (Dec 3) to ask to be included in the Government's £200 million Mortgage Rescue scheme.
