Sheffield Green Party are supporting a demonstration opposing moves to
prevent pedestrians using the Midland Railway Station. The demo, called
by the leader of the Council, Jan Wilson, will be this Monday 21st April at 11 am at Midland Railway Station. (meet at rear entrance)

I am pleased that the Council leader has realised what a serious issue this is. The station is now a vital pedestrian link between the city centre, the supertram stop and the residential area around Park Hill. Any moves to prevent access to pedestrians and make Sheffield Railway Station like a London tube station will be bitterly opposed. This is such an important issue I ask the Lib Dems and Tories too, to forget our differences on Monday morning and show a united opposition to East Midlands trains plan to gate the station."
