Bernard Little to contest Sheffield
Central for Greens
10th February 2008
Dear Sir
Following the selection of the Labour candidate,
the main contenders in Sheffield Central constituency are now
known. They include Central ward councillor Bernard Little who
will be fighting the seat again for the Green Party. We are now
a close third in council elections with over 20% of the vote across
the constituency and are working across all the wards. Bernard
Little will campaign hard, building on the increasing influence
and impact of Green councillors in the city.
I note that Paul Scriven will be targeting
Paul Blomfield as representative of the failed "Brown-Blair
project". Bernard Little will be offering the only real alternative
to the 3 major parties, all of which have policies for economic
growth and development that fail to recognise their damaging effects
on the planet. The Green Party campaign will put people before
profit, focusing on protecting the future and offering policies
to provide long term social and economic stability for all.
Yours Sincerely
Eamonn Ward
Election Agent
